I started handpoking in July 2023. Handpoking (also known as stick and poke or machine-free tattooing) is a traditional method of permanent body art that uses tattoo needles and ink to render designs in the skin dot-by-dot. The application is gentle and quiet but slower than machine. In March 2025, I started a machine apprenticeship and learned the basics. Since then, I've continued to learn independently, expanding my offerings to include machine and hybrid tattoos. I work out of a private studio in Columbia, MD. 

Machine tattoos are currently limited to linework and solid black fill. Hybrid tattoos combine machine lining and handpoked shading. As we discuss your tattoo, I'll recommend the method I believe is best suited for your design and my current skillset.

All booking is done through my Booking Form. Newsletter subscribers get access to the form 2 hours earlier than those who are not subscribed. Once spots are filled, I'll remove the link until the next booking cycle. Any last minute spots due to cancellations or reschedules will be announced on my Instagram story.
