I’m happy you’re here! Together, we’ll create something truly special that you’ll cherish for years to come. Here are a few things to help you understand the commission process a little better.

Before we get started, you’ll need to decide which style of work you’d like to commission. While I’m primarily an acrylic painter and mixed media artist, I enjoy branching out from time to time to try new things, challenge myself, and strengthen my skill set. Most of my clients are drawn to previous work and will often reference pieces with colors and elements that speak to them. I'm currently offering Portraits on Cradled Wood Panel, Lover's Eye Brooches, Name Plates, and similar work. See rates below.

Once you’ve decided on the style of the piece we’ll discuss size and material. If reference photos are needed, we'll look through the ones you have to determine which will work best. Additionally, I’ll give you the option to see in-progress pictures of the piece as it develops or wait until the end. Most of my clients want to be surprised so they wait until it's finished but it’s up to you!

When the details are finalized, I'll send a Commission Agreement along with a deposit invoice via PayPal. The deposit is 50% of the total price of the piece and is due within a week of receiving. If the deposit is not paid, your spot will be forfeited and you'll need to reapply during the next commission cycle.

When I open my books for commissions, I’ll make several posts on Instagram as well as make an announcement in my newsletter. Spots are limited and on a first come first serve basis. If you have any questions about custom art, feel free to email me at [email protected] .
